Restaurant: BBONG Korean Restaurant
Position: Chef, Full time, Permanent
Wage: $34.65 ~ $36.65 per hour
Working hours: 30 Hours per week
Work Location: 329 North Rd #260, Coquitlam, BC V3K 3V8
Start date: As soon as possible
Job Duties:
– Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
– Prepare, cook and complete meals and specialty foods for the events
– Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
– Analyze operating costs and other data
– Estimate amounts and costs of supplies and food items
– Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking and food presentation
– Maintain records of food costs, sales and inventory
– Train staff in preparation, handling and cooking of food
Qualifications:
– 3 years of experience in commercial food preparation
– Completion of Secondary school
– Able to communicate in English
