Jensen Building Ltd is looking for a carpenter supervisor for a fulltime and permanent position in Kingston area, Ontario.

Responsibilities include:

Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of carpenters and related apprentices, helpers and labourers of third parties.
Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other sub trades and third parties
Requisition materials and supplies and coordinate their delivery and allocation
Resolve work problems and recommend and manage work –related issues
Suggest ideas to improve productivity of carpenters
Train or arrange for training of workers
Provide feedback on employee performance and recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions
Ensure standards for safe working conditions are observed
Prepare schedules and other reports
Prepare cost estimates for clients
Be prepared to travel. Actual work locations will be throughout Ontario
Requirements for the job are 5 years work experience as supervisor carpenter.
Must have experience in overseeing and directing the work and experience in leading meetings with third parties.

College or trade diploma or equivalent experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $32.00 /hour
